When I heard they were making a Lord of the Rings movie trilogy, I said "oh, that would be interesting" and left it at that. When I heard they were making a new Transformers movie, I didn't really do anything other than peek at the trailer, which underwhelmed me. And I really couldn't care less if they ever get around to making a Halo movie, no matter how cool it would be.
What I'm getting at here is that there are very few things a movie can have that get me interested enough to follow said film's progress long before it even hits the theaters.
One of those precious few things, however, is
Jewel Staite, the lucky placeholder of the #1 spot on my "things I would very much like to lick...alot" list. Mint ice cream is #4, to give you an idea of how the list goes.
The Tribe:
http://imdb.com/title/tt0811124/(Note to Kristy: NOT based on that weird European show you kept trying to get me to watch. Though that did look kinda neat.)
I don't even care what the hell it's about. I'll be there.
(P.S.- While we're talking about the very sexy Miss Staite, none of you would happen to have $500 you're not particularly in need of, would you? There are
things I would very much like for Christmas.)
EDIT: I found a trailer. It actually looks pretty cool.
